Elenco do programa Extreme Makeover: Home Edition que faturou o Emmy

A academia de televisão, artes e ciências do Emmy Awards, que anualmente confere o maior prêmio da TV norte-americana, anunciou na noite deste domingo (11), em Los Angeles, os vencedores das chamadas "categorias técnicas" da 57ª edição da premiação.

Em cerimônia mais modesta que a "oficial", que acontece em Los Angeles no próximo domingo (18), foram premiados atores, produtores, técnicos e diretores de TV em 46 categorias, entre elas, edição, trilha sonora, programa infantil, direção, figurino, maquiagem, efeitos especiais, entre outros.

As séries "Desperate Housewives" e "Lost", exibidas no Brasil pelos canais Sony e AXN, respectivamente, receberam quatro estatuetas cada uma. "Extreme Makeover - Home Edition", a versão "casa" do programa de transformação, ainda inédita no Brasil, faturou o prêmio de melhor "reality show". Já os atores Bobby Cannavale e Kathryn Joosten tiveram seus trabalhos reconhecidos por participações especiais nas séries "Will & Grace" e "Desperate Housewives".

As outras 27 categorias do Emmy serão premiadas numa cerimônia de gala que acontece no próximo domingo (18), nos Estados Unidos. A festa, que assim como o Oscar terá tapete vermelho, será transmitida ao vivo para o Brasil pelo canal pago Sony, a partir das 21h.
