A série "Breaking Bad" venceu o Critics' Choice Awards na categoria Melhor Drama na noite de quinta (19). "Orange is the New Black" se consagrou como a melhor série comédia no quarto ano da premiação.

"Fargo", do FX, e "The Normal Heart", da HBO, venceram em três categorias cada uma, sendo que "Fargo" ganhou como melhor minissérie e "The Normal Heart" como melhor telefilme . O canal FX ganhou um total de cinco estatuetas, enquanto a HBO veio atrás com quatro.

Matthew McConaughey levou o prêmio como protagonista de "True Detective".
